We wanted to say THANK YOU to our fellow classmates who have either pledged a donation or have sent in money to help make up the shortage from the reunion. 

We have now received $1025.00 of the $1900.00 shortage which is very heartwarming and humbling all at the same time.  We are over half way there!  It just reconfirms how truly great the Class of '88 is and how we can pull together and work as a group to make things happen.

We would like to thank the following classmates who have come forward in supporting the class of '88 and helping us to make up this deficit.

Hi Everyone!

Thank you so much for your response and donations.  As of 10/29 we had $1150.00 of donation pledges and as of 11/2 we have received $650.00 of those donated pledges.  I have said it before and I will say it again... The class of 88 is AWESOME!

Who Shot JR? ( 1980 ) Millions of TV viewers tune in to watch the start of the new series of Dallas and find out " Who Shot JR " .

American Embassy Attack
21st November ( 1979 ) : An attack on the American embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan by a mob who had been incited after listening to a radio report from the Iranian leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, saying Americans were behind the occupation of Islam's holiest site, the Great Mosque in Mecca, leaves the Embassy burned to the ground killing a US marine.

Nigeria Miss World Riot 21st November ( 2002 ) An angry crowd of people set fire to and stabbed riot demonstrators. This incident took place after it was announced by an Islamic news publication that the Miss World Beauty Pageant would have been accepted by Islam’s founding prophet. A total of 50 people were killed and 200 others were injured.

Fire At MGM Grand Hotel
21st November ( 1980 ) : A fire broke out in the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino (Now Bally's Las Vegas) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Smoke and fire spread through the hotel, killing 84 people and injuring 785, including tourists and employees.
